Teen or Young Adult Coaching

Many teens and young adults can also benefit from on-going life coaching.  For teens that can include family work as well.  This process can help the family problem solve and increase their appreciation for each other.  It can also help young people develop their own goals and identify what it is that they want so that they can move from passivity and reactivity to taking an active role in their lives.  This is a challenging stage for young people.  Their developmental job is to separate from their parents but in so many ways they are still relying on their parents for very basic things.   If teens are self-harming or engaging in high-risk behaviors then we would encourage you to seek out a mental health provider.  Coaching does not take the place of counseling.
